After playing volleyball at Ohio State, Coach Shelly moved to Colorado to begin a teaching and coaching career.  She has been a teacher and a part of the Columbine community for 15 years, first teaching Language Arts and then moving on to her true passion Physical Education and Health.  Most of her high school coaching experience has been at Columbine High School, Assistant Varsity coaching 2006-2009 and then Junior Varsity 2012-2014.  She has also coached at Heritage High school as well as Valor Christian during her career.  She loves to teach athletes the fundamentals and instill in them a true passion for the game.

Coach Marnie fell in love with volleyball in middle school, and quickly switched from competitive soccer to volleyball.  Her love and skill for the game carried her to college where she was a setter at Hastings College.  Marnie was introduced to coaching while helping at clinics and camps during college.  She has been coaching for more than 10 years at various competitive clubs and High Schools and has coached youth teams as well.  Coach Marnie is excited to be returning to the Rebel Volleyball program.

Coach Mac started playing volleyball when she was 10 years old and there was no turning back!  From finding a niche for setting throughout elementary, high school, and competitive club to playing and serving as player-coach for her club team at Villanova University, Coach Mac loves to play whenever she can-- including on grass or sand-- and is passionate about developing volleyball skills for younger players. Coach Mac thrilled to be returning for another year coaching in the Columbine volleyball program!

Coach Hopkins started playing volleyball when she was 12 years old. She grew up playing volleyball, softball, basketball and rugby. We are excited to have Coach Hopkins back for her another year coaching volleyball at Columbine

We are fortunate to have several people who want to be a part of Rebel Volleyball.  Coach Greg, Coach Monea and Coach Audrey are back for another season.  All have been helping in the program as volunteer coaches for several years.
